What a year it has been. Ayora, with very little, accomplished so much in the span of a year, and the organization couldn’t be prouder of these achievements. We are also finishing the year off with a great action of giving away computers to one of the schools a Sebt Aourga, affiliated with the city of Agadir.

As some of you may note, this was not our first visit to this area this year, but Aourga was the site of our biggest operation in 2022 consisting of the establishment of a fully functioning well. (More information found in our previous articles) However, the Ayora foundation took a liking to the area and its people, who are immersed in their hopes and drive to help their families, at any cost no matter the visible hardships seen by many. A humble lifestyle which not only sheds light on their situation but directs us in providing help, but also in a way helps our organization grow and understand the reality of many impoverished people in Morocco. We were able to change so many lives in this area by bringing them potable water, and today we bring the gift of knowledge and information to their youngest generations. It is by helping the youth gain knowledge and become the leaders of tomorrow that Ayora, as an organization, feels it can provide the biggest impact to the ones in need.

As an organization we always strive to bring people the basic needs in the hierarchy such as water, food and electricity, and as the resources allow, Ayora continues to provide children with the necessities to learn and develop. While we only gave away about a dozen desktop computers, we feel the impact will be exponential as we continue to find other ways to help the inhabitants of Aourga and other regions in need all over the country. We also hope to continue receiving donations and shared resources from partnerships to help as many as possible.
